Mechman high output alternators · Authorized dealer
Infiniti owners range from G35 coupe tuners with amplifiers in the trunk to QX56 and QX80 families running rear screens and towing a boat. Every Infiniti high output alternator on this page is a 400 Amp Mechman billet unit, listed for 1996-2023 models with engines from the 2.5L V6 to the 5.6L V8. The vehicle finder matches your exact year and engine.
Six units cover 21 Infiniti models. Sedan and coupe owners can start with the G35 for 2003-2008, the Q50 with the 3.7L in 2014-2015 or the 3.0L from 2016 to 2023, and the Q60. Crossover and SUV drivers should check the FX35 for 2003-2012 and the QX56 for 2004-2013, along with the QX80 from 2014 to 2022. Earlier models such as the I30, I35 and QX4 are listed too, along with the M, EX and later QX crossovers.
G35 and G37 coupes and sedans are common audio and track builds, while QX56 and QX80 owners tend to run rear entertainment, roof lighting and trailer gear. Both kinds of load add up quickly, and one 400 Amp unit handles either without stepping up again later. The same units are also listed for Nissan models built with the same engine families.
Each Infiniti high output alternator listed is a 400 Amp unit in a billet aluminum housing, machined from solid stock for rigidity and heat control. That output leaves room for a multi-amp audio system in a G37 or Q50, auxiliary lighting on a QX80 that tows, or a track car running fans and a data logger. Because the output is the same across the board, the main decision is fitment: use the vehicle finder to choose your model, year and engine, since several nameplates switch engines between years.
Mechman high output alternators at this output need heavy cable. Add a Big 3 and power wire kit, a battery from our batteries, and any harness from harnesses and regulators. Shop Infiniti with Nissan on all Nissan and Infiniti alternators, or view every alternator we carry.
