Crossfire Car Audio organizes its subwoofers by power. The C3-V3 is rated at 400 watts RMS, as on the 12 inch D2 and D4 models, a good fit for a daily driver on a modest monoblock. The C5-V3 steps up to 600 watts RMS in sizes such as the 8 and 12 inch. The C7-V3 is the high-power choice, with the 18 inch D2 rated at 1,600 watts RMS.
Every one of these is a dual voice coil design, so plan the wiring first. A single dual 4 ohm subwoofer wires to 2 ohms in parallel or 8 ohms in series, while a dual 2 ohm driver wires to 1 or 4 ohms. Pick the version that lands on a load your amplifier is rated for. For the front stage, XT-Pro midranges come in 6.5, 6x9, 8 and 10 inch sizes, sold as single drivers in 4 and 8 ohm versions depending on size. Impedance matters here: two 8 ohm midranges wired in parallel present 4 ohms to a channel, a common way to run pairs on one amplifier output.
