Every model in the XS Power XV-Series lithium titanate batteries line is a 12V battery, which keeps the choice simple for vehicles with a standard electrical system. Automotive versions cover BCI Group 24, 34R, 35, 47, 48, 49, 51, 51R and 65, and powersports versions such as the XV14Q, XV20Q, XV30Q and XV975 fit motorcycles, UTVs and compact installs.
Start with the BCI group printed on your current battery. Matching it keeps the new battery in the factory tray with the stock hold-down and puts the terminals where your cables expect them. R models such as the XV3400R and XV5100R reverse the terminal positions relative to the standard versions, so check which side the positive post needs to be on before ordering.
The XV14Q and XV20Q list both standard and L layouts in their titles, Group 14/14L and 20/20L, and the XV30Q covers 30/30L. The XV975 is a U1R size. These suit motorcycles, side-by-sides and other vehicles where weight and space are tight, and they give riders who add audio a lithium option without changing system voltage. Confirm terminal orientation against your harness, since powersports cables rarely have slack to spare.
LTO is a lithium chemistry valued for strong current delivery and long cycle life. As with any lithium battery, charge it with a lithium-compatible charger or profile and avoid lead-acid modes such as desulfation or equalization. If you add a reserve battery of a different chemistry, use isolation between them and fuse each battery's positive cable.
