Older Fords were wired for points ignition, incandescent bulbs and an AM radio. Modern upgrades ask far more. An EFI conversion needs steady voltage for the fuel pump and computer. An electric fan pulls hard at idle in traffic. A concealed amplifier behind the seat or in the trunk adds more. Many owners also switch to electronic ignition and brighter headlights in the same build, and each change adds steady draw. A higher output alternator lets those systems work as designed.

Every unit here is billet. A billet housing is machined from solid aluminum, while a standard housing is cast; billet brings a stiffer case and a crisp look that suits a detailed engine bay. Choose Polished or Chrome for a show car, Machined for a raw metal look, or Black for a stealth build.
