Powersports battery boxes leave little room, so match the group or model designation of the original battery. The PSX14, PSX14L and PSX14Q cover Group 14 and 14L fitments, the PSX20, PSX20L and PSX20Q cover Group 20 and 20L, and the PSX30L covers Group 30L. The L suffix refers to terminal orientation, and the Q models list both layouts in their titles, so check terminal positions against your cables before ordering.
For a relocated battery or a second battery for the stereo, the numbered PS models from the PS545L and PS680L through the PS925, PS975L and PS1200L offer a range of case sizes. The Sundown SPS-950 and SPS-1500 give audio-focused riders another option from Sundown Audio.
Many motorcycles and UTVs have modest stator or alternator output, so a large amplifier can pull the battery down at idle or with the engine off. Size the amplifier to what the charging system can support, and if you add a second battery, wire it through an isolator with a fuse at each battery. Keep cable runs short, use wire gauge suited to the current and length, and protect every positive run with fuses and fuse holders. A compact amp wiring kit sized for your amplifier simplifies the job.
