Modular lithium titanate cells are the foundation of XS Power TITAN8 lithium batteries, offered in two families. PWR models come in direct-fit BCI group sizes such as 34, 35, 47, 48, 49, 51 and 65 at 12V and 14V, plus 16V racing versions, while RSV models handle reserve duty at 12V, 14V and 16V. Group 20 and 30 powersports formats round out the range.
Think of PWR as the battery that replaces the one under the hood and RSV as the battery that adds storage elsewhere. PWR models in BCI group sizes, from the PWR-S5-3400 to the PWR-S6-6500, are sized to match common factory trays, while RSV models such as the RSV-23, RSV-46 and RSV-S7-1600 build reserve capacity near the amplifiers. The PWR-S5-20Q, PWR-S5-30Q and RSV-S5-30Q cover powersports-style cases.
The model codes follow voltage: S5 models are 12V, S6 models are 14V and S7 models are 16V, as the product titles show. A 14V or 16V TITAN8 battery needs a charging system set to that voltage, plus amplifiers and accessories rated for it, and it should never be tied directly into a 12V vehicle circuit without proper isolation.
Lithium titanate, often shortened to LTO, is a lithium chemistry known for accepting and delivering high current and tolerating many charge cycles. Like any lithium battery, a TITAN8 should be charged with a lithium-appropriate profile and voltage, never a lead-acid desulfation or equalize mode. Mixing chemistries in one system calls for care: keep voltages matched and use isolation where AGM and lithium share a vehicle.
