Mechman high output alternators · Authorized dealer
Plenty of Sportage crossovers work for a living, running delivery routes or rideshare shifts with phone mounts, dash cams and chargers on all day. A Kia Sportage high output alternator from Mechman, available in 240 and 320 amps for 2011-2021 models with the 2.0L or 2.4L engine, keeps that equipment powered through long hours.
Hours of idling at pickups, a dash cam recording front and rear, a mounted tablet and passengers charging phones make for a steady, all-day draw. The 240 amp unit covers that working setup well. Pick the 320 amp version if you also run roof rack lighting, an inverter for equipment or an amplified stereo.
Gig drivers often idle for long stretches with the air conditioning running while waiting on orders, and low idle speed is a demanding time for any charging system. A high output unit keeps the battery topped up between stops, so devices stay charged and the engine restarts without fuss.
These are Mechman high output alternators for 2011-2021 Sportage models with the 2.0L or 2.4L four-cylinder, with a single wire turn-on connection. Enter your year and engine in the vehicle finder above the products to confirm fitment.
The same units fit the Hyundai Tucson and Kia Optima. Install your Kia Sportage high output alternator with upgraded cables from our amp wiring kits, and browse the Kia alternators page for other vehicles.
