The 2004-2007 models split between the 2.4L and 3.3L. From 2008 to 2016 the 3.5L V6 uses one series, and from 2009 to 2019 the 2.7L four-cylinder uses another. Because the four-cylinder and V6 ranges overlap, the year alone will not tell you which Toyota Highlander high output alternator you need.
