Monitoring Your Electrical System

Sparked Innovations voltmeters show what your battery and charging system are doing in real time, which is the quickest way to spot voltage drop before it turns into dimming lights or amplifiers cutting out. Single battery voltmeters cover simple setups, the Dual Battery Voltmeter Monitor watches a main and AUX battery side by side, and the DC Voltmeter Battery Capacity Monitor Gauge adds an onboard capacitive touch switch. Display colors can be matched to your dash lighting.

The Conductor takes monitoring further. It combines an all-in-one ground distribution block with a 1000A ammeter, so you can see current draw right where your grounds meet. That makes it useful for spotting a weak ground or a component drawing more current than expected.

Switches, Cooling and Sensors

Latching switches stay on until pressed again, which suits amp turn-on and lighting circuits, while momentary switches stay active only while held. GM truck owners can mount them in Sparked billet aluminum switch panels for a clean, integrated look. For heat, the Fannie fans run from the compact Tiny Fannie up to the six-motor Big Fat Fannie. Pairing a fan with a 12V thermometer, such as the ambient sensor rated from -30°F to 120°F, shows whether the airflow is keeping up.

Use a relay for heavy loads

Small push buttons are meant for signals and light loads. For high-current devices, let the switch trigger a relay so the heavy current never passes through the button itself. A relay also shortens the high-current run, since the heavy wire only needs to reach the device.

Sparked Subwoofers and Pairings

The SQL and Bass Blaster lines bring Sparked into the subwoofer space. Browse them in Sparked Innovations Subwoofers and match their RMS ratings and coil configuration to an amplifier from our amplifiers collection. A voltmeter earns its place when the system behind it is healthy, so consider a dedicated AGM from batteries if readings dip under load. In a dual battery build, the Dual Battery Voltmeter Monitor lets you confirm that both the main and AUX batteries are charging as they should.
