Sundown's subwoofer range is organized as a ladder, and choosing a rung starts with how much amplifier power and charging capacity you have. The SA series, including the SA-Series v.3, is the entry point for daily drivers on a single amplifier. LCS and U series drivers, such as the U-Series v.2 15 inch D4, step up in power handling for builds with stronger electrical systems. The X and Z series target serious output, and the Team series is built for competition vehicles with the charging systems to match.
Within any series, match the subwoofer's RMS rating to your amplifier and choose a coil configuration, such as D2 or D4, that wires down to an impedance your amp handles. The SAE, SALT and SIA amplifier lines give you options at different power levels, and the SFB-1000D Full Range Amplifier v.2 is a full range design that can drive speakers as well as subwoofers. The SALT Bass Knob adds level control from the front seat. On the speaker side, the SA-Series SA6.5M and SA-3M fill door and dash locations, while NeoPro and VEX midranges and the SHFST 2 inch throat super horn build a loud pro audio front stage.
